EMBEDDING YOURSELF INTO A TEAM

VETMotorsports' two-wheel motorsports program competes in various national series. Program participants are embedded into the team and given active participation as crew members. Our non-clinical outreach participants perform an array of tasks, from physical / mechanical work to speaking to the general public and media. VETMotorsports provides support as veterans work through any handicaps or disabilities as a crew member of the team. Being a crew member allows veterans to overcome or work through their handicaps and work with their peers in a team setting. Up to three veterans and their families are assigned to each motorcycle. Events typically are three days, usually held on the weekends. Combat Veterans are provided guidance by VETMotorsports staff and our assigned crew chief.

In this video, VETMotorsports's Founder Peter Cline and Race Team Owner George Latus discuss the partnership of Latus Motors Racing Program with the VETMotorsports Organization for the 2015 Season.

VETMotorsports places post-9/11, combat-injured veterans into unique motorsports environments. These veterans participate in actual race team activities that focus on their abilities and assets to the team rather than their disabilities or past experiences. Recently, combat-injured U.S. Navy Veteran David Fisher worked with the Monster Energy/Graves/Yamaha team at Mid-Ohio.
